LABIAPLASTY IN PORTLAND, OR

TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR OWN VAGINAL COMFORT

Labiaplasty is a discreet plastic surgery procedure for women to minimize the labia minora (the skin that covers the vaginal opening and clitoris). Dr. Kathleen Waldorf has been in practice for more than 20 years, during which she has performed many successful labiaplasty procedures for Portland-area women, and all our staff is sensitive to the specific needs and concerns of women seeking this procedure.

BOOK YOUR CONSULTATION

During the surgery, your surgeon will remove excess tissue from the labia minora, which may have been causing pain or discomfort during sexual intercourse or when wearing tight-fitting clothing. This procedure is also often desired by women who feel that their labia have become stretched as a result of childbirth or age. The surgery is sometimes called labia rejuvenation or labial reduction.

YOUR LABIAPLASTY CONSULTATION

Since labiaplasty is such an intimately personal surgery, we at the Waldorf Center want to ensure that each woman considering the procedure has all of her questions answered and is fully informed about what it involves. Dr. Waldorf will conduct a consultation with professionalism and compassion, using the time for an examination and discussion intended to increase a patient’s understanding of the specifics, as well as confidence in the choice.

YOUR LABIAPLASTY SURGERY

Your surgeon will customize your surgical plan based on your anatomy and the results you want. The procedure usually takes about one hour. The labia are trimmed per your specifications, and absorbable stitches are used to close the incisions. In some cases, fat grafting to the labia is indicated.

The surgery is usually performed as an outpatient procedure.
