Dr. Johng completed her integrated plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at University of Minnesota, during which time she was involved in multiple research projects and national meetings. She also served as a resident council member for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, resident ambassador for PlastyPAC, and was a resident representative for her medical school’s diversity, equality, and inclusion focus group.

Outside of work, Dr. Johng loves being outdoors, especially if it features her dogs, snacks, and a good view. She is a big fan of Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Harry Potter (but if she had to pick her favorite, it would be Lord of the Rings). She also enjoys traveling, family time, music, reading, drawing, cooking, eating, and video games.
