Lodging

We refer several of our patients to local facilities for pre and post-operative accommodations. Many patients travel a long distance simply looking for a place to stay and will have someone to care for them post-operatively. However, we do offer an option for those who do not have anyone to assist with their care.

Several options are listed below for both short-term and long-term care accomodations:

The Rest and Recovery Center at Legacy Meridian Park is a “home away from home” environment for people who need a caring environment for a brief period of time. The center is designed for patients who may require some assistance with daily activities and supportive nursing care without continuous medical supervision. Two levels of accommodations are available, short stay and extended stay. Our physicians will recommend which level they suggest and the options will be discussed with you by the patient relations coordinator. The rest and recovery center accommodations are not usually eligible for insurance reimbursement. Additionally, charges incurred for medical treatment (such as pharmacy services, radiology and lab) will incur an additional expense. The Waldorf Center will make these accommodations for you.
