Syneron™ ELOS FotoFacial®

Many people are nagged by rosacea and/or small red vessels on their face. Others have brown spots or “sunspots” that develop over time, and can make skin appear older. Some people complain of loss of skin elasticity or fine wrinkling, that makes them look older than they are or than they feel.

The ELOS FotoFacial® laser is capable of treating a number of skin issues. It utilizes intense pulsed light (IPL) and radiofrequency energy to maximize treatments. By utilizing different settings, this treatment can greatly reduce the brown spots or the redness to the face from rosacea or the little red vessels or spots that develop. There are also skin tightening settings that can make immediate noticeable differences in the skin tone of the face.

These treatments are well tolerated and require no down-time afterward. Often times the spots or vessels that are treated become darker after a treatment, but this is easily covered with makeup and resolves over a number of days as the spots disappear.
