Facial Rejuvenation

The following procedures are some of the many facial rejuvenation procedures that we offer at The Waldorf Center. During your initial consultation with our center you will have a chance to meet with our surgeons, nurses, and estheticians. This consultation typically takes about 1 hour and allows you the opportunity to explain what type of correction you are seeking. Our surgeons will then discuss your treatment options and expectations.

Your questions will be answered in detail and you will be shown before and after pictures of actual patients our surgeons have operated on. Due to patient confidentiality we have not posted some these pictures on our site, but we have all of our facial photos available for you to view during your consultation.

Blepharoplasty (Eye Lid Surgery)

Who is a candidate for eyelid surgery?

If you have tired or drooping eyes, loose or puffy skin, or if you
have dark bags.

What is the recovery process for eyelid surgery?

The area around your eyes may be swollen and bruised for up to two weeks following surgery.

What are the expected results for eyelid surgery?

Your eyes will appear more youthful, softer and people will
typically comment on how rested and rejuvenated you look.

Who is a candidate for an endoscopic browlift?

If you have wrinkles or frown lines on your forehead or if you have a drooping brow and heavy upper lids.

What is the recovery process for an endoscopic browlift?

Your incisions are hidden in your hairline but you may experience some swelling and bruising for up to two weeks.

What are the expected results for an endoscopic browlift?

Your facial features will appear younger and friendlier looking and people may comment on how rested and rejuvenated you look.

Rhytidectomy (Facelift)

Who is a candidate for a facelift?

If you have laxity of the jowls or neck, sagging skin, or wrinkles.

What is the recovery process for a facelift?

After 10-14 days you may begin wearing make-up and you will feel comfortable in public.

What are the expected results of a facelift?

You will have an overall lift of the lower third of your face, tighter skin, and a more youthful neckline.

Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery)

Who is a candidate for nose surgery?

If you would like to change the shape, size or improve the function of your nose.

What is the recovery process for nose surgery?

Swelling and bruising around the eyes may last for ten to twelve days following surgery.

What are the expected results for nose surgery?

Your nose will appear more in proportion to your facial features
and your breathing may improve.

Otoplasty (Ear Pinning)

Who is a candidate for ear pinning?

Any one who is at least five years old with prominent or large ears.

What is the recovery process for ear pinning?

You will need to wear a headdressing 7-10 days then protect ears for about six weeks following surgery. The incision is behind the ears.

What are the expected results for ear pinning?

Your ears will appear more natural looking and lie flat against
your head.
