Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty)
Some people are unhappy with the shape or size of their nose and others have difficulty breathing through their noses. These problems can often be corrected with a rhinoplasty.
With incisions just inside the nostrils and at the bottom of the nose, the bone and cartilage of the nose can be accessed and restructured. The scar is well hidden.
After surgery one can expect some swelling and bruising around the eyes, which usually resolves after ten to twelve days. In general a person can plan to return to full activity after a few weeks.
